Step one is to make the problem visible, step two is to actively seek a solution to the problem. Positive is the medical research’s great interest in the intestinal flora, but the level of knowledge needs to be raised in health care in general.

However, gastrointestinal problems are a hidden women’s problem because, for example, the majority of people with chronic constipation are women – and virtually no research is done on this. Unfortunately, there is little interest from School Medicine in finding out the functional causes of gastrointestinal problems. This needs to change because 80% of the immune system is in the gastrointestinal region. And today a good immune system is absolutely necessary. Otherwise, the immune system is busy with problems in the gastrointestinal tract

I would call it gastrointestinal dysfunction rather than disease, because when the cause is removed, function is restored quite quickly.

However, there is hope, and a then simple method such as flushing the bowel with salt water may be an option – see below.

NOTE: all my health advice is aimed at reasonably healthy people who already live a healthy lifestyle.

Constipation a major problem

Constipation, for example, is a huge hidden problem, and is most common in post-menopausal women, but is found in everyone today from children to the oldest. A stretched and enlarged colon is also common today, and since colon and rectal cancer are on the rise, I recommend prevention by focusing on a well-functioning bowel. Unfortunately, the health care system lacks solutions other than bulking agents or laxatives, but if you look beyond that, there are plenty of solutions.

Fixing gastrointestinal problems is something that natural medicine – (orthodox medicine calls it alternative medicine) – has a lot of knowledge about and has spent a lot of time on. Functional medicine also studies and addresses the causes of stomach problems. I describe this more in “Sannas fasting book” which will be published in April 2021. Fasting is good for most people, especially periodic fasting every day (16-8 or 18-6) – because it gives the intestines a chance to clean out, repair and recover.

Own health – own responsibility

An important first step is to remove all sugar, wheat flour, cow’s milk products, processed industrial foods, fried foods and spoiled oils from your diet. Because what you eat is nutrition not for your own cells but for all the microbes and possibly parasites or pathogens (disease-causing organisms) in your body. For fermentation paves the way for disease… so don’t feed fermentations in your body with fast carbohydrates, incl drinks like soda, juice and alcohol.

So learn about your stomach, get knowledge on your own, because “Own health – own responsibility” applies more than ever today!

.

Supplement: Saltwater flux

Many people have had positive experiences using the Saltwater Flush to flush out the entire intestine and literally flush out the problems: The Saltwater Flush is an effective “bio hack” that activates bowel movements and empties the bowel in a gentle way. By drinking a sea salt solution, we can use the body’s own defense mechanism to temporarily interrupt “digestion”, and instead activate the body’s “elimination” – to remove the salt water as quickly as possible out of the body. At the same time, it flushes both the small and large intestines clean!

Feedback from users:

– Sofi 35 years – got her stomach in order

I’ve been using the Salt Water Flush regularly for over a year now. My stomach feels much better now! I have had major problems with my stomach; extreme smelly gas, constant stomach pain, bloating etc. Since many years I don’t eat sugar and avoid processed unnatural products. I completely stopped eating gluten three years ago and dairy products two years ago. Nevertheless, I did not get my stomach in order….it improved considerably but did not get well. I was still very sensitive to any kind of onion, cabbage and the like.

So I started doing the Saltwater Flush 1-2 times a week – and then came the difference: no stomach pain, no gas and no bloating! Now I do this method 1-2 times a month, and feel each time when it is time and needed. Now my stomach feels so good, calm and not swollen. I still avoid eating things I can’t tolerate, but before the flushes I had problems all the time with my stomach despite “strict” diet. Now I can even eat some cabbage and onions again!

In the past, I have always had problems with recurring anemia (iron deficiency) and have had difficulty getting the values up despite taking iron tablets. I still get bad blood counts sometimes, but now I get them back up quickly. It feels like my body’s nutrient absorption has improved significantly by doing the salt water flushes! Thanks for all the wisdom you share!

– RoseMari 58 years – IBS and fibromyalgia disappeared

I tried salt water flush in the summer of 2020 and the first time nothing happened, so tried after a week and then the bowel emptied properly. I have ibs with constipation, which has been very hard and therefore I have continued with the salt water flush about every other month. September 2020 I started with periodic fasting 16: 8, so have now continued with both this fasting and Saltwaterflush – and my ibs is completely gone! My fibromyalgia is also a memory! This week I am doing a 5 day water fast to repair the body properly. I will then continue with one meal a day 3-4 days a week and the remaining days eat 2 g day.

Description on the saltwater flux

I put more blogs about this with gastrointestinal dysfunction, and have two chapters on the function of the intestines in the upcoming “Sannas Fastebok” which will be released in April 2021. Have had major problems myself, which include irritated and hypersensitive bowel, SIBO (overgrowth of bacteria in the small intestine), histamine intolerance, intestinal worms, damaged intestines and intestinal bleeding. But resolved it gradually and it’s all gone – more on that in the next book. Most of it was of course related to intestinal worms, something that school medicine failed to diagnose time and time again even though there were visible worms in the samples I submitted.
