Active ingredients in natural skin care
Milk gland extract
Milkweed extract is a skincare ingredient suitable for people with sensitive and reactive skin. The extract is a concentrated form of milkweed, also known as milkweed, which is a wild plant full of antioxidants and flavonoids.
Milkweed extract is used in skin care to counteract:
- Rosacea
- Redness
- Irritation
Milkweed extract also has a mild exfoliating effect that cleanses pores and is a multifunctional ingredient with anti-inflammatory properties.
Omega fatty acids
Omega fatty acids are a group of essential fatty acids that are widely used in natural skincare as well as in food supplements thanks to their high antioxidant content. Omega-3, omega-6 and omega-9 are the fatty acids most commonly used in skincare products. Omega fatty acids are suitable for all skin types, but especially for mature and dehydrated skin.
Omega fatty acids are used in skincare to:
- Moisturize your skin
- Repair and renew skin cells
- Nourish your skin with antioxidants
Omega-3, also known as alpha-linolenic acid, is used as a natural anti-ageing ingredient thanks to its ability to promote skin cell regeneration and reduce collagen damage in the skin.
Omega-9 is a monounsaturated oleic acid that deeply moisturizes the skin. It also has emollient properties and makes the skin smooth.
Omega-6, also known as linoleic acid, is the best omega fatty acid for acne-prone skin. This is because it strengthens the skin barrier and prevents dry skin.

Paracrass
Paracress is sometimes called nature’s Botox because of its firming effect. It also has moisturizing properties and makes the skin soft and supple. Paracress is suitable for all skin types, but especially for very dry skin.
Paracress is used in skin care to:
- Tightening and smoothing the skin
- Moisturize
- Nourish
An oil containing alchemides is pressed from the paracrass. Alchemides have anti-ageing properties and promote collagen production, which helps to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and make the skin feel firmer and smoother.
Aloe vera
Aloe vera is a vitamin bomb that provides the skin with plenty of moisture. With its soothing and protective properties, aloe vera is one of the most important ingredients in natural skincare.
Aloe vera is used in skin care to:
- Moisturize deeply
- Fighting acne and blemishes
- Relieving burns
Aloe vera is highly nutritious and contains lots of minerals and vitamins, including vitamins A, B, C, D, E and zinc. This makes aloe vera one of the most gentle and soothing skincare ingredients, particularly good for sensitive or damaged skin. It can also be used on acne-prone skin.

probiotics
Probiotics are live and beneficial bacteria that restore skin balance. To put it simply, probiotics in skincare means adding bacteria to your skin.
Probiotics are used in skin care to:
- Counteract eczema, acne and skin irritations
- Making skin more balanced and resilient
- Moisturize and add radiance
To some, it may seem a bit strange to have bacteria in skincare products, but probiotics are good bacteria that make your skin feel good. Probiotics are suitable for all skin types, including sensitive and irritated skin.
