With the blissful body method, you can turn stress, anxiety and fear into calm, peace and tranquillity in just a few minutes. This is done by breaking the stress cycle as soon as it starts and then feeding blissful feelings into your heart. It turns everything around quickly; from stress to bliss! This is a simple method that you can use whenever and wherever – just when you need it! Dr. Sanna Ehdin has developed the Blissful body method and taught it to thousands of people who have improved their lives.

Good news: despite increasing stress in everyday life, practicing the Blissful Body Method can turn stress into bliss. You can turn stress, worry, anxiety or physical pain into calm, peace, love, joy and light. Because every thought creates a neural pathway, it also means that you are also rewiring your brain. It becomes a rewire so that you function in a calmer, more high-functioning way. Blissful body lifestyle means living with a stable, good level of well-being with inner peace, harmony and quiet joy – also called bliss! It is a daily choice that we make.
In a simple way, the Blissful body method helps people break free from inner stress and quickly experience an inner peace and quiet joy – bliss – that was not thought possible. The method was previously called Blissful Mind – but Blissful body better describes the result. It also separates it from the established Mindfulness method.
Scientific trials of Mindfulness have shown that it is entirely possible to actively opt out of stress, worry, anxiety and panic feelings with the right techniques and training. The Blissful Body Methodtakes this a step further. It provides a simple tool for a functional and positive everyday life.

You rebuild the brain – rewire
By catching yourself just as the bad thing is happening, you can turn things around immediately. This is done in a simple way by first actively stopping and “breaking off” it, and then feeding positive energy (emotions via words) into the heart. In this way, you immediately stop a negative downward spiral before it gains momentum and takes on a life of its own. By repeating this a couple of times a day, you reinforce the positive – creating calm, peace and quiet joy. It becomes bliss in the mind – in the moment.
- BLISS means quiet everyday joy – feeling calm, content, harmonious and light. It is spontaneously experiencing light feelings of pleasure that can peak in euphoria. It happens, for example, when you look at something beautiful like a sunset, roses or are with people you love. You could call it quiet everyday happiness.

Bliss is the state we and our bodies are designed to live in. Because 98% of the body’s processes are designed to function optimally in a state of bliss. Research has shown that we become calmer, more social, present and creative – so only benefits! Because every thought gives rise to a neural pathway, scientifically proven, so you gradually rebuild your brain – rewire. It also brings great benefits to the heart:
Your heart is a powerful muscle and its nourishment is oxygen and love! By regularly practicing the Blissful body method, you increase the power of your heart and thus your own personal resilience. It brings true Peace of Mind – calm and peace in the heart.
Blissful body is about rewiring the neural pathways of our plastic, malleable brain into high, positive function through repeated, daily exercise.

Blissful body – here’s how!
The new updated Blissful body method now also includes specific activation of deep breathing and the Vagus nerve. It is simple and powerful in itself, and you can choose to do just that. The vagus nerve is the largest nerve in the body and it affects EVERYTHING at lightning speed. Here’s how to do it first, and below is some background with references to more reading.
Step 1.
Become aware – Break out of the incipient blockage by becoming aware of stress, anxiety, anger, negativity, etc. It could also be that you are entering a limbic stress autoloop (LSA). This means that your brain is ‘kidnapped’ in a downward stress spiral. This can be triggered (activated) by a strong reaction to something in your environment (smells, sounds, people), negative, punishing thoughts, or it can also be triggered by a strong worry, incipient anxiety or other disharmonious feeling.
Step 2.
Use the Higher/Wise Self (Will) – Now choose to change your attitude or reaction. Break the incipient activation of negative energy/thoughts – by saying “stop” out loud while crossing your arms alternately in front of your chest. Cross twice and then drop your arms down your sides and outwards while saying “let go”. So you say “stop, stop, let go” while alternately crossing your arms and bringing them down along the sides. Kind of like you are cutting something and throwing it away. Repeat this cycle of “stop, stop and let go” several times, until you feel the charge start to fade.
Step 3.
Activate deep breathing – Put your middle finger on the dimple on the sternum (breastbone) approximately between the nipples. Press lightly and possibly massage gently, as this will trigger deep breathing immediately. Hold for about half a minute while taking a few deep breaths with nasal breathing.
Step 4.
Activate the vagus nerve – Put the fingertips of the left hand together and hold them on the skin end of the vertebrae of the neck. That is, right where the upper back begins, while the right hand is placed on the abdomen (on the clothes is fine). Take a couple of slow deep breaths… Inhale on the count of seven and exhale on the count of ten – nose breathing all the time. Touching the neck activates the vagus nerve, touching the stomach calms the abdominal brain.
Step 5.
Use the power of the heart – 3 minutes of downloading positive, kind, loving words into your heart, “pump love & bliss energy”. It switches your mind almost instantly! It immediately stops the limbic system’s incipient destructive cyclical patterns. It prevents the fighting body (fight/fear) from activating – and your whole being calms down instead of shifting gears. It only takes a few minutes to shift everything to the calmer harmony of the love body. This is immediately beneficial for our entire organism.
What we believe becomes our reality, and the brain helps us act to promote and manifest this. Speak positive affirmations often!
Step 6.
Program the new one by reassembling the fingertips of the left hand into a finger flower, which is placed on the beginning of the cheek just in front of the middle of the left ear. This consolidates and makes permanent what you did, much like pressing save and enter on the computer. OPTIONAL – doesn’t have to be done, ok if you forget but gives more lasting effect.
Step 7.
Thank yourself for making this favorable change. Reward yourself in constructive ways by allowing your inner higher/wise self to show its appreciation.

Blissful body was developed by Dr. Sanna Ehdin in 2014-16 and the method has had a couple of names along its development. Most recently Blissful Mind, before that NPH program (NeuroPlastic Heart programming) and at its inception the Happy Heart method. Blissful body is the final name and chosen to distinguish it from the Mindfulness method. Thousands have used the program with very good results.
