The spice that creates more glow in the skin!
Hello!
Wonderful summer and glorious sun! Hope you are well and enjoying the lovely summer!
I am soooo excited! Next week, on July 28, my book will be released! You can already pre-order it at Dr. Sannas!
The spice that creates more glow in the skin!
Spices are amazing! The spice I’m talking about today is turmeric, and it has been considered food for the skin for thousands of years in India!
Turmeric can have a positive effect on the skin and also on skin ageing. It is a strong antioxidant that has the task of neutralizing free radicals, which means that you do not age as quickly.
Free radicals can damage the mitochondria (the power plant) of the cell, which can cause you to age faster and lose energy. The antioxidants in turmeric are in a form of active compounds called curcuminoids, and these are very powerful.
Its anti-inflammatory action, supports healthy joints, purifies the blood and strengthens liver function, which also promotes radiant skin. However, it is important where you buy the turmeric from, so it is of the highest quality!
I can highly recommend buying Turmeric Strength™ from Megafood. which contains both whole turmeric and turmeric extract combined with piperine for highest bioavailability, as well as vitamin C, basil and berries. Which is also extra good for skin vitality and collagen formation.
Take it daily for some time, and also put the ‘turmeric mask’ on once a week:
More glow and firmness with turmeric mask:
Ingredients:
1 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda – balances the pH of the skin.
1 tsp honey – has a purifying effect on the skin and can refine pores. It is also antibacterial and clarifies the skin.
1/2 tsp olive oil – good for dry skin that needs more radiance. Olive oil contains anti-inflammatory polyphenols, chlorophyll, vitamin E and antioxidants, which boost protection and make the skin glow.
Mix all the ingredients in a small bowl, and using a brush, apply to the face, not forgetting the neck. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes and then rinse off well.
NOTE! If you have eczema or rosacea, the mask may be too active, so support the skin from within for a while with the right nutrition that will also strengthen the skin.
Now you can take our introductory training with us at Holistic Health Academy! There you will get all the knowledge how to do to feel better and have more energy. In the training you go step by step through
